You should. Fitting a snorkel and winch are easy jobs, and the only safety critical thing is to make sure you don't touch any live wires on metal parts while wiring the winch.
And also remember that neither are essential to operating a Land Rover, so you could just leave it all in the shed until the weather warms up, and the light is better for doing it outside.
Agreed, and if you take photos and post them (start a new thread) people can follow how its going and chip in with advice. You may even get some tools lent to you! Not by me mind, we are in tier 3 lockdown.

Best to have every nut bolt and washer handy before we start and if you get completely stuck we can Wade in from around the country with fits of laughter No! I mean sound advice and tricks for an easy install. You may even get a visit or two if you need any special tools.

To be fair it wasn't that bad...I took the grinder to the end cap brackets..it was needed..then I'd already treated the bumper bracket bolts with some good penetrating oil..they came out without too much trouble...the hardest bit was putting the new bumper on single handedly ie the tight fitting and the weight involved but all in all not too taxingIts customary to spend 10% of the saving on beer, you can of course work up from 10% depending on the difficulty of the job, but never down as you must have a reward.

Some days I miss my old discovery, my missus is my go to extra pair of hands on jobs like that. Some bumpers are right heavy awkward bastids. Time to get cutting holes in the wing next then

Fortunately I bought my old disco 'ready done' for 510 quid on eBay. I've got an original looking series 2a now though ond there's no way I'm chopping holes in them wings
