And the Oval is the best ground in the world.I worked in Egham for ten years, too busy for cricket at the time, but I have just joined a club up here.

My dad still lives just outside Egham in Thorpe Lea....Grew up kicking about in Thorpe and Virginia Water, had a few fights with the Matthew Arnold School on Staines bridge (being a Magna Carta kid).....my uncle played for Egham CC too, now he plays for Ascot CC, and his brother played professional cricket for Glamorgan!

Oh god, you are stalking me. I don't need telling on here, as well as Facebook, that I need to drink tea and patiently spend the weekend fighting to get the dammed black thing back where it started
It'll refuse to move in any direction right up to the point it effortlessly and inexplicably drops back into place which will be almost as annoying as it being stuck.
They're designed special that way

Its not going to get the chance. I have a plan for tomorrow which involves removing the hoses and water

Used to work out of a farm in Egham. and done loads of tree work in Virginian Water and roundabout.Lots of club cricket, mostly in SW Lunnon, and a bit in Hants when I used to live there. Should be playing in Cambs and Norfolk in the new year, hoping for a good season in the sunshine, I never liked playing in the damp of Cornwall very much. Shall have to bite my tongue on occasions, avoid any sledging about the relative cricketing merits of Cambs and Surrey.
I may have to wear my brown cap, bit of psychological advantage.
I feel I am entitled as a full member, although I havent played for them.

Which bit are you stuck on? Removing the hoses shouldn't be difficult

The bit people usually struggle with is getting the nut undone but if you wanted you could give it a go and get the hoses off.
At worst you'll save a mobile mechanic a few minutes.
Mine was a conversion with an adapted cowling so I can't be precise but I'm sure there's a few that can talk you through any bits you're unsure of.
