I did google it. I couldnt find what I was looking for. Im not that good with a computer. So I asked on here if I could get some help. There was no need for your sarcastic comments

Well after all this is LZ best Land Rover site on the planet. It is the way of the form here. Either accept it or get:flame2:. So before you spit your dummy have mother tie a string to the end and hang on:tea:

If it's anything like my old S3 was .. it doesn't matter .. the wiring was so bodged over the years before I got it that a manual, diagrams, common sense, were all way out the window! I never got the indicators working properly whilst the brake was pressed! I knew it had to be an earth fault somewhere but never found it .. ;)

Wiring them up is quite easy if the wires are the right colours and someone hasn't semi-rewired them with non standard stuff - green and white for right and green and red for left It is basically one wire to each indicator with an earth selected from some convenient place for the black wire to the light fitting. Behind the dash your indicator switch should just connect to a multi-pin connector.

OK folks, let's help the guy out ...

The red one goes from there to there and has a connector on each end.
The other red one goes from that bit to that bit.
The blue one, which has replaced the red one links that with that, and the green and yellow one has been used to link the oojah with the wotsit!

Be careful that you don't connect that black one with that black one because it will go bang, as some eejit ran out of red and blue and used that instead!

If in doubt, use the red lead on a multimeter for the stuff where there should be power and keep the black one on the multimeter connected to a bit of metal that's attached to all the other bits of metal which could attached to the battery by red/black/blue/green/random coloured bits of wire or cable!

I sincerely hope that this has helped and clarified some of the mystique surrounding Land Rover Series wiring! :D

What about the brown one!

My series has brown wires

Red worms, blue worms or brown worms?

As long as the earth worms is OK then everything should work!! ;)
