Hi can anyone help I have a Freeland and while I'm driving it feels that if I put my foot down I wont pick up more speed instead it jults as if I've changed down a gear I'm in need of some advice as what the problem may be if I drive at a steady pace its fine o ly when I wont more out of it

I presume it's the clutch slipping!

What year is your car?
Is it diesel or petrol?
How many miles are on the clock?
How long have you owned it?
Service history?

If you provide as much info as possible then that helps the wise and informed (not me) to give you some info that might help.

Its a Freelander di diesel 2.0 1998 there's 163 on clock just brought car was told that maybe the lambda sensor has gone but want to be sure before I buy part
