Hi, well, I decided to put some fuel additive into my fuel tank, it came with a seperate funnel, which you were supposed to attatch to the container to help pour the liquid into the tank without spillage. Being in a rush, I did not attatch the funnel on properly, and the funnel about 4 inches high with a disamter of a 2p piece fell into the tank! Being plastic, I hope it will just float about and not cause any damage? Please reassure me it wont do any harm, have to do a 400 mile round trip in the morning!

I can't see it doing any harm. I don't think that there is any way it can block the fuel pickup.

excellent, i hope you are right martin1512! will try to keep at least half a tank to keep the thing floating!

The fuel pickup pipe is a vertical pipe that comes down through the top of the tank to the bottom. As long as you have about an inch of fuel in the bottom of the tank you will be fine.

Just a quick update, done the round trip, and all went well, so hopefully it will stay that way! Thanks for your help!
