Sorry, I have tried the search but I am on my phone and it is proving difficult. A) head home. B) Not worry and do an additional 600 - 800 this week and then head to the ferry sat for a crossing to Denmark. Then 1100 to St Malo. C) Have a go at changing the seals, if that is what it is? Only have basic tool. Nearest big town is Oslo 240miles away. But up til now all good. Thank you.

Sorry, I have tried the search but I am on my phone and it is proving difficult or else I just feel too panic strike! Says it all in the title really, looks like it is coming from the black cover on the side. I might have a gasket set in with the spare wheel? It has only just started dripping having wound it up a step mountain this morning I guess and noticed it dripping when I pulled in the service station this afternoon. Dripping about one drip every 20 seconds or so. Whilst I do not want to drop diesel in Norway the old mechical pumps on the Mercedes om636 actually had a connector to collect excess diesel as they wore. Feeling sick and grateful for any advice. Hope it makes sense as working on about a sq inch of screen. But up til now all good. Thank you.
It should still allow you to complete your journey.

Thanks for the speedy replies guys, don't see much point giving up on my trip. Absolutely loving it. Thanks again. Will have a better poke around tomorrow, weather permitting.

Which seals?? One at timing end can be changed without removing FIP @Grrrrrr tells me but it is a potch. Other than that you will need new seals from somewhere, or a tube of hylomar for now will keep you going.

You got pretty far before she started playing up :D

Thought you had a refurbed pump?

Are you sure it isn't leak off pipes at #1 leaking down?

Usually it is the square middle section seal so pump top off. I would just keep an eye on it and deal with it when you get back unless absolutely ****ing out.
