Hi.

My name is Claudia and I am a professional photographer who likes to photograph Land Rovers, especially when they are off-roading! My partner owns a IIA 109". A few shots taken earlier this year:

I am Portuguese, but moved to England in April this year, and I have been enjoying a lot so far :D

My other half and I 88" inch Land Rover. It was built in 1966 for Southern Electricity Board, and was then owned by a farmer who still has it in his barn. It has original petrol engine, and originally had a fairey capstan winch.

Dan helped me with these technical bits as I don't know a lot about it :) but I hope to learn!

If anyone local can weld I would love to hear from you! :mil80:

:welcome2: cool pics, more pls....

Hi!

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I will post more pictures. I have been in a few shows, and I have spotted some really nice vehicles :)

I will also post more pictures of the glorious Seb, the 109 and, hopefully, an update on the progress of my new 88" inch Land Rover :D

Seb is the bees leg joints!!! I really like the Winch placement.. it really makes the look. and the tyres, and the colour, really it is all exactly the kind of landy I love! of course it could just be the photograph!! but the cross grill, and the lights in the wings, are my fav.. I'm sure the 88 will turn out cool too, good luck with it, I know how occupying it can be!! there is really so many parts to these things, I don't know where to start with mine! (109 ex military s2a) (continual project). is it all running fine? presumably the s.e.b kept it well? I can almost smell the hay from those 88 shots! all the best. Gem

Hi Gem.

Many thanks for your comments!

With Seb what you see is what you get :) The picture shows the realllll Seb ehehe

The 88 will be out of the road for quite some time...but oh well :) It will be fun to work on it. If you know of anyone who can weld in the oxfordshire area just drop me a line.

I am now looking for a welder, and I had a few emails so this baby will, hopefully, been in the road very soon. I just need to start saving some money eheheh

In case anyone is interested, we have been working on Siegfried and today we spent the day rubbing down some paint.
