200 is more appropriate as the resistance is likely to be less than 1 ohm. I checked my Fluke DVM and that shows 1 for open circuit so it sounds like your element has failed, no surprise.ok, so i was set at 2000 ohms would that not work? my only othere setting down is 200 should i do the test again set on that?
The pointy end of pick axe does a good likeness of a stone chip I didn't say thatmm i sense a stone chip coming my way!
Depends on the size of the chip and it's locationNeed more than a chip
