Afternoon all.
I've moved over from the RR section as I had to lose my beloved P38. A couple of years with an RR Sport under warranty almost drove me round the bend so I have bought a D2. As I did with the Rangy I've overcome most issues by reading on here before I start but I've come to a dead end with the seats. I think that the PO tried to get them working with some aftermarket switches even though all of the wiring is there!
Anyway my problem is that I've got connector C969 under the seat. It's a four way connector with; pink, black, light green & pink/white cables. A nose around inside the seat comes up with four bare cables!!! These are red, green, black & black. Are these what should be connected into C969? If so, which goes to which?

And everything works from the siwtches except the heaters? also are you sure that the heater pads are original ?

Yup. I've added the missing switches and then had a good look inside one seat and it's the original heater pads. I'm certain because they're shaped to fit around the seat springs.

Unfortunately the element's wiring colours dont appear in the diagram so you'll have to find out with a multimeter which wires are from the heater and which from the thermostatic switch (it's the same for LH too, 969-4 and 237-1 are connected)

Thanks for that. I got that far as well, but I can't get my head round where they connect. The total change in wiring colours doesn't help. If it wasn't for this current malarkey I'd nip to a scrappy and take a look but . . . . . .
Thank you

Thank you for even considering it.
I'm wondering what I'm going to find next. The PO was a bit adventurous with the wiring, I've dug lengths of speaker wire out of some weird corners. Between that and his liberal use of a rattle gun underneath this is becoming a magical mystery tour.
