Hi All, apologies if this isn't the right forum for this...

As the title says really, I'm in Manchester (UK) and looking to get the headlining replaced on my 2001 P38. Maybe get the seats re-done at some point as well. I've found a couple of places that look promising, but they're down south so would mean driving down there, staying overnight etc.

So, anyone had theirs done by anyone in the North West?

Headlining is quite a simple job to do, use Martrim kit and surgical gloves and it is straight forward. It took me and my wife about 4 hours in total

I'd rather pay someone £200 that spend 4 hours arsing about with it :)

I'm happy doing oily stuff or electriconic stuff, but fiddly bits of interior are not my bag :D

The guy we all use down south near Taunton will have it done in an hour or so. It would be possible to do it in a day and he's very good for £180

On google? Yup, loads... I was just after recommendations from anyone on here who's had it done :) I guess a trip to Taunton might be on the cards.

How about the regional forums? Might get a bite in there?

I can confirm it is an easy job. I used socks on my hands rather than surgical gloves. I won't ask why he had surgical gloves handy. Best not to dig too deeply there I suspect.

Hmm, might give it a go myself..... the suede black one looks nice, not sure it will go with my current lightstone interior though

Hi Paul, im in manchester too , theres a place in denton that is 1st class not cheap but the best you will get in Manchester ,,, they do all varieties and makes from vintage to modern ,, see your messages and will let you know where they are cheers Mozz

Got a kit from matrim and believe me I'm not good with mechanics or electrical or trimming and did it myself there's a how to do on here from dopey that's excellent with pics it's not a hard job mate

I got the suede from a place in salford. Cost me 17 quid. If you have a garage or somewhere to do it, it is fairly easy. Cleaning the old glue etc off is the worst bit.

Did mine the other week. See page 488 on "what did you do to your range rover today". As said quite an easy job. Dopey's how too in tech section very helpful.
