Have you got pics of your setup?

Are the adjusting screws seated correctly?

i. think so the screw holding bevel in is tight the two that it clips behind are the adjusters i think but. when i slcken them to tip down and in light comes lose

The head light adjusting scews have a lip so the bezel is moved in/out so something isnt right, which is why a pic helps so much;)

Here is a very bad drawing of what a headland ajusting screw looks like ....
The bezel sits in the slot...

I had the same issue when I replaced the headlamp bezels to stainless steel ones (the originals corroded). The adjusting screws did not want to work (can't remember why) so I replaced them with stainless screws - with a nyloc nut behind the head to replicate the lip behind the standard ones (as @miktdish sketch). Gave the screw threads a good dose of copper grease. They work great, no problems since fitting them many years ago.

i have it now marjon my eyesight must be failing i looked on ebay for fixing kit and saw the slot in the screws so refitted and ok now thanks for your help ☘️

Glad your sorted. but I am sure it was the great artistic drawing from another member that sealed the deal:D:D.

Great idea to use nylocs, I was thinking of using some adhesive to lock a nut in place.
Do you know if stainless adjustment screws are available or what the thread size is?

Thanks

They must be metric as I have a selection box full of metric nyloc nuts and will have used those. Probably 3mm or 4mm size. (would have to dismantle my headlamps to confirm this and that's not on the cards).
