how do they work? are the connected to the windscreen ones or is there a seperate switch many thanks

On my '92 Classic they operate when the windscreen washers are operated with the headlights switched on.

My P38 are the same, they will only operate if the headlamps are on and you use the main winscreen washers. They should wash and wipe at the same time.
