Can you change the actuator/motor that adjusts the headlight level?
Or do i have to replace the whole headlight

My n/s headlight level seems to have dropped below level 0. If i set the switch to level 3 it only moves up slightly.

You can change them separately- they twist to release and then you need to pop off the ball joint to the reflector

I´ve got the same problem. Both motors are not working. What direction would I have to twist them in order to remove?
It´s a 2002 vehicle though.

I have just tried to remove them, They don´t want to move a millimetre. Is there anything else to pay attention to?
Any screw to release, any knob to press?
I don´t want to damage anything.

It takes a bit of force, removed 2 from my 52 plate last week.

Think i have to remove the headlight on a facelift

You were right, it was a matter of force, thank you.
When removing the motor I heard two clicks, one when twisting it and one when the ball joint popped off the reflector.
But when putting the new one in place I heard only one click when twisting it.
Now I'm wondering what happened to the ball joint.
Did it slide into position and connect to the reflector silently or would I have to give any help?

I would of thought it would be the reverse of what you did to remove them.
Pop it onto the reflector first and then twist clockwise to attach to the headlight body

I tried to pop it onto the reflector but ist didn't work, the reflector just gave way.
What can I to give it a bit of resistance?
