As per the title, I am having some difficulty obtaining headlamps at a decent price for a car that is 12 years old!

However, it "is" a Jaguar, so I thought you chaps could point me in the right direction.

Also, I am sick to death of these rip off, thieving, Dick Turpin chancers and the legend "Doesn't Post To Scottish Highlands" on ebay

Courier firms are over priced anyway, I always use Royal Mail....

So, it's a 2004 Jaguar XK8 coupe with 4.2 V8 and 6 speed auto box. Standard halogen bulbs & power wash.

Cheapest I can find is about 170 quid and frankly, that's disgusting for a bit of plastic :(

Anyone able to help? I also need a PAS pump, but they tend to be more easy to find, they were fitted to a million different V8's.... I rather think a LR or RR V8 PAS pump would fit, but the pulley's may differ.

Parts for expensive cars are always expensive, even when the car is worth peanuts. All the chavvers buying old L322 Rangies for 6k will have a shock when a suspension or gearbox fault happens.

What's wrong with your lights, if it is because they have become foggy you can polish them, I've used this kit (check prices) on my old Passat and it does a good job with a bit of time and care. Don't be tempted by those who say use toothpaste etc:rolleyes:

The lenses are fine, it's the reflectors that are knackered. Own fault, missing the rear covers, damp got in and that's it.

Planning to re do the whole car top to bottom as it currently has a mere 35,000 miles on the clock.

She's a pretty colour, close to George. George has Alaskan Blue Met and Christine, the Jaguar is Zircon Blue Met.

Anyway, need a few bits & bobs. Me being a chav and all that don't want to spend extreme amounts of cash :D
