Hello all.

Any help welcome with this one. As the dark nights are well in now, i have noticed in traffic that my drivers side head light moves up and down on its own from time to time.

There's only a small amount of movement seen on the rear of the car in front, but must annoying for on coming traffic.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers

My Yeti lights used to do dance on start up. I thought that was what the op was referring to in the tittle! :D

Probably broken bottom bracket try lifting from bottom of headlight you will see it in gap easy repair with a bit of epoxy putty

Thanks for your replies.

I should have made the thread a bit more clear. It does seem that the headlight does indeed move between set positions and not shake, as would be the case if there was a broken bracket.

There is a headlight adjustment switch on the car. Is this the usual fault?

Cheers all.

might be worth poping out and checking as it sounds like the fault is in that circuit

Mine does this, I find when in switch the lights on they 'dance' up and down on the motors but if I move the height switch down to pos 3 then back to 0 they then settle back at 0 till I switch them off and back on. I've not looked yet to see what could be causing it? Any ideas where to start?
