Yep score was the wrong word now question is it possible to replace just one liner ??

That is a crack. Needs a new liner. Engine shop could do it but it will cost. They will have to bore the old one out and press a new one in maybe fit a top hat.

Update shop in Slough going to do it for 300 quid skim heads for 100 have been away so back at it next week when I will lift block out - any particular advice on easy ways welcome - looking forward to stripping down and rebuilding

Well got the engine out today have been really lazy doing this anyway what do you think of my makeshift tent my excuse is work but I do need to get a move on as it is getting dark and will soon be cold and still got to strip it have new liner fitted rebuild do door locks replace tailgate and fix roof lining oh and a new headlight anway pics of it coming out attached

And I knackered a knock sensor and they are not cheap grrr Interestingly the worst bit was getting the heatshields off the rest was a dawdle
