OK here's a good question for you?
How do I know if my 90 has been lifted or not? is there a height I can reference - bonnet or roof height?

orange ey' :) might be scorpians ;) if yer lucky... or some bugger with a spray can! where's the pics!?!

G

It's too dark now and I refuse to believe you can tell from a picture! every spring and damper I've ever seen looks the same... You are truly wise! and I've got a lot to learn, I'm starting to think the best thing about landy ownership are the forums...

OK - -more importantly how do you all get the little picture next to your name?????

That's not next to my name but it is close.... still can't work out how you all seem to have it next to your name?

You need to click on UserCP up top, then on the left menu click edit avatar, then upload your picture.

you also need to include a bigger picture using the attach function as your pic is too small to tell. what size tyres are you running?

I would be tempted to say even from that picture that is lifted. Im so used to lifted ones now standard ones look short. That one doesent look short to me.

Thanks for the aknowledge, I've attached another image for your expert opinions. Woods your 110 certainly looks lifted and looks great, I'm still not convinced mine has been? I'd like to fit 33's if possible - it's on 31's at the mo'

Did look great ;) Its seen a fiew rocks and branches since then. lol

And i think ur right, looking at these maybe its not lifted, i was going by the gap between the top of the wheel and the arch, and those wheels are small ish. Ur landy is sitting level, ive never seen a lifted landy sit level they normaly have a helium back end. Looking at those pictures, to me the front looks lifted and the back looks stock, which proves i know nothing.

well at first glance it looks lifted.
then when u look closer its sort of eeerrrrrrrrrr not too sure now. the wheels and tyres could be throwing you off the scent.

Guys, thanks for the advice I'm also not convinced as when I back it out of the work car park I can get it alongside a standard td5 and we seem to be about the same height.... So I've just ordered a 2" pro comp based lift kit. At least I'll know for sure.

All you have to do is look a at the shackles that hold the springs to the frame. If they are short and the end of the spring is close to the frame than it is not lifted, if they are long, about five inches that it is lifted. If it is lifted and you order a 2" lift for it you will not beable to make it have a 4" lift:D If you are just looking to put larger tires on you can always cut the fenders (Wings and wheel arches) out:D

Would that still be true if the springs and dampers are simply oversized? Wouldn't their position and relationship to the chassis and axles be the same only the distance between the two (axle- chassis) would be greater?
