So what the general feeling about "modding" landy's, I’m normally into classic fords and the general rule of thumb is mod the engine and keep the rest of it looking like it came out of the factory.

I’m working on a series 2 swb, and i have a funny feeling its going to end up with zebra vinyl graphics all over it, with a white base cote, and non standard wheels, is it frowned upon?

I think its super sexy, but it should be a completely new car. Why make something that looks so fast out of something so slow?

usually a bit conservative bout these things and think a series should be a series - no mods or modern luxeries - thats the joy of a series. But this thing is awesome looking. Think they have done an amazing job on it - would love one - just to look at.

Reminds of an old blower bentley. Think its the length of the bonnet and the fabulous uprite steering wheel.

Hmm, bit strange, but each to their own I guess.

What about this for weirdness.... 1/4 mile in 8.57 seconds!

Not really what a series II is about. I prefer the traditional image rather than a power unit dressed in a landrover body.

It's something different, but not something you'd want to see all the time. I love to see the old Series Land Rovers trundling along the road; I'd even wave if I thought I wouldn't get stupid looks.

Andy.:)
