Hi, have just replaced abs pump , switch, relay and accumulater, damm hand brake light stays on, has anyone any ideas why?

Classic??
P28??
L320??
L322??
Year??

Assuming P38 -
Only the handbrake light or also the Traction Control and ABS Warning Lamp??....As these will come on too with a duff pump and accumulator...

If it is just the Handbrake Warning lamp, check the handbrake switch, fluid level and brake pad thickness....

A good introduction helps!!

may not be related to the work youve done have you checked the switch that turns off the light on the hand brake lever

Good news, got in the car today and all lights are out, did nothing to it. Thanks again for the replys

If it stayed on after hand brake was released and now goes out, i would be looking at brake fluid level. Start engine and allow ABS pump to stop then fill to max level on tank. You cannot check fluid level if ABS pump has been stopped for any length of time, fluid bleeds back into tank and it will always look over full. If you fill it to max and car has been stood a while and pump not run it will be low after pump has run.
