I wanna paint some parts under landy cos they look rubbish and a bit flakey is hammerite up to the job or should i been doing something else? wax oil??
I tek it you mean the inside of the chassis. I'm toying with the idea of drilling big holes at the lowest points on the cross members and side bits and a big hole on the tops so I can sluice water through to clean the ****e out then squirt waxoil into them. The most important part to look after is the inside, has anyone came up with a good solution for protecting the inside?

I asked the good folk at hammerite for advice ysterday on painting my rusty axles and they advised AGAINST using any of the hammerite paints on the live axles as they can get too hot and the hammerite fails above 80 degrees.
nice getting a bit of honesty in the rustproofing world.
