no i suppose you must be right not even the 125 built to enter in in the touring car class pity that i must own a flying carpet
When did Ford / or the lads at SVO in Boreham ever build even one Orion to compete in international touring car racing?
I can't find any mention of this project anywhere else on the internet, or in my bumper book of Cosworth, which details all projects, including the one off prototypes, from Duckworths & Costins original meetings, all the way up to 1996?
In what touring cars series did these Orions compete? Who drove them? They certainly wern't used in the British, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Austrialian or South American championships?
Also at what point have McLaren ever built engines? This is something that they have never done themselves, right back to the days that Bruce Mclaren set up his own team back in 1966 they were getting Cosworth to supply, build and rebuild their engines.
So, please do tell us more about these 125 McLaren engined Orions that were used in touring car racing that no-one, not even Cosworth or Mclaren themselves have ever heard of?
Here's a little tip mate. Don't go talking bollocks when there is a fair chance that you are going to get found out. It just makes you look like a ****.
