Hi all!
I´m new to the forum!
First of all, know excuse my English :confused:, as long ago not write or speak this beautiful language. My wife is an English teacher and her dream is that we travel England, in family, but the prices are something unattainable to us right now. :mad:
I am the happy owner of Freelander XDeI ´99, for almost a year, and I am very happy :):). It has 190000 km.
Since 5 months I am living in the Valley of Traslasierra, Cordoba, Argentina. At the foot of the mountains of the Comechingones. Almost an earthly paradise!
Well, I hope soon to visit your beautiful land and share a drink with you.

:welcome2: Your command of English is quite good, in fact, better than some English folk blogging on here. Remember to visit Scotland when you are in the UK, it is different to England and Wales in many ways. I trust you have a good sense of humour and be prepared for the subject of our Falkland Islands to pop up, I know some of the guys on here wont be able to resist it.;):D

Your English is probably better than some of the natives on this forum, and certainly better than their Spanish!:D

Pleased that you like you Freelander, and hope you have many happy journeys in it. Please ignore some of our humour about Freelanders, a number of us prefer the more basic original Land Rover. But there are many Freelander owners on here.

What other type of 4x4 do they drive in Argentina? I presume you don't have your own car industry, so are most American and japanese?

I'm used to the jokes about my freelander, do not worry, :mad: there are very envious people everywhere. :cool2:
In Argentina we have a Land Rover club (landroverclub.com.ar :: Índice) where you can see many models driven on our roads.
In these latitudes have many American and Oriental (Japanese, Chinese, etc) and few masterpieces as Landys.
I am looking to buy a Series to restore, but not easy to find.

We could send a Series down to you on HMS Queen Elizabeth if it is finished by then of course.
