It's works just about, output bearing is shagged and made a few odd noises. I wouldn't want to put it back in as a new one. Going to keep it as a spare I think just incase. Best have one kept up me sleeve as such!

Good idea.

If anyone fancies a Xmas eve /boxing day trip out give me a hoy. Stuck working until then and has swivel joints to repair. V snatchy wobbly steering

Wahhhh why must you pick days I'm either working or have family commitments! I can do in between Xmas a new year ideally I'd like to go out before that but it's unlikely with land rovers going BANG all over the place! :D

Those are my only days off :(
Apart from my road trip up norf for new tent :D

I haven't been out for ages - anyone fancy a bimble around the South Basingstoke lanes? Would be a later start on Boxing Day :D but could do 26/27th - any interest?

Christmas Eve is the day for the last minute panic buys!

Put new head gasket in the wagon today so I'm up for it. Didn't get a chance to skim it and should really have done but never mind. See how long it lasts.

Hi all
We are local to you in Godalming.
Have been going out further afield with LRexperience days in Rocky our 110. But would be nice to do some local stuff too.
How fierce are the lanes you do? Particularly on shiny black 2011 bodywork Lol.

Hi there, well if you like your shiny paintwork i wouldnt go laning with us, some lanes can be very scratchy, but it just depends if they have been trimmed recently, but goin on past experience there will always be some scratchy ones lol

Hi, certainly most of the ones I do in my bimbles are scratchy to some extent, so wouldn't recommend if you like your paintwork!

Frensham is always an option - saw an Evoque down there last time I was out!

Mmm, was contemplating going out on the 27th, but with the weather being as it is, I suspect several of the lanes would be unsuitably wet or blocked with fallen trees. Maybe in the new year, after me MOT and armed with gardening tools :D

Went out two nights back when it was bad. Spent half the night clearing main roads, thaught would see how the lanes were, Water lane nr Alton was under 2/3ft water the whole length of the lane and cut 1 tree of the track, Greatham greenlane (Where locky got his 110 beached) was quite wet but still passable, cleared the lane of 3 fallen trees.
Did a few more around Alton area and most were ok not making any more mess than driving on them normally.

Might head over one night to hindhead lanes and see if anything needs clearing depending on how wet they are and size of the trees, 40" around the limit
That big mother of a tree still by the end/start of the punchbowl lane??
