I've just been reading your thread, sounds like a laugh. I've recently got a cheap and cheerful 4X4, am localish to you guys and if you don't mind a novice I'd like to join you for some green laning at some point in the near future..... I'm sure that my driving will make for some hilarious footage!!! Rob.

Course noone minds a novice, we all got bitten by the bug at some point and were novices, I still am, but they put up with me :D

Hi there what 4x4 have you bought then ?

Prob on the wrong web site for this car... I've got a 1998 Isuzu Trooper SWB, £500 and the little beauty has just sailed through an MOT!!! Every panel has scuffs and dents so i'm looking forward to adding to them on some lanes.]

Have got a new gearbox, transfer box, clutch, and wide angle props in on Sunday good days work. Just got head gasket to do next week or so in spare time as she got a tad hot other day as thermostat failed and closed on the A3. Then ready for the next outing!

And been given a new go-pro camera to test!!

Is there anything wrong with your existing transfer box.

It's works just about, output bearing is shagged and made a few odd noises. I wouldn't want to put it back in as a new one. Going to keep it as a spare I think just incase. Best have one kept up me sleeve as such!
