Its had a problem starting for over year now, thought it best get it done along with the mot.

Is it turning over quick enuf, mine was a bit slow so i bought a great big **** off battery lol

Turns over and if the batteries are strong will fire and start after a while and a lot of white smoke, if batteries are on teh flat side they drain and the landy needs a jump.
Once started it runs fine, and even if I turn it off after 10 seconds, it starts back up no probs.
Batteries are fine as are the glow plugs
Glow plug relay was fault and replaced but has made no difference
timing has been corrected as after timing belt change was slightly out, by correcting it, it made it worse.
Last time I spoke to the garage they have changed timing again the other way and tested this moring, not heard anything so i guess it was not good news.
And thats where I am at at the moment, I call them tomorrow lunch time for another update.

White smoke usually means water are u sure the head gasket is ok as wet glow plugs will obviously not be good ?
