Only in the evenings, but it won't take long ( famous last words) could do it over a couple of Eve's.
I am very good at supervising :). - ask sniffs :p

I think we'd be looking to start around 12, neither of us are morning people.
We did a simillar thing last week and I must say his did quite well considering its an original (mk1?) honda CR-V.

Now does anyone know if the famous CB repairers in farnborough is open on a saturday and if they are where are they?

I have a family BBQ at lunchtime so would surface around 2.30 I guess, if you can let me have your mobile I could ring to arrange a meet?

The CB shop (which is very good) has a website here. They used to open Saturday mornings. Address is 97 Osborne Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6AP

And Em, don't worry too much about what the garages say, i'm sure we can all have a look at what they've said is wrong and give a less biased opinion.

Bless you wonderful people.

One day ill surprise you all as you all speak about bolting things together and talking about general land rover mechanics and ill come out with something highly intelligent and tell you all i can fix whatever it is you're speaking about.

One day...

@davethesparky - got your PM. The BBQ has been shifted to the late afternoon, so we'll meet you at the start and duck out mid afternoon if that's OK? Mrs Sniffs will be coming along for the scenery!

I'll PM my mobile in case your plans change.

I'm taking my sisters boyfriend and his honda CR-V round the gentle lanes of this area tomorrow. You are more than welcome to come along, meet at the usual place 12:00.

I'm half tempted to bring my freelander along instead of the defender if there's going to be some real landy's to pull it out of the sticky stuff.
