hi all
of course i drove to paris in mi 90, not going in mi transit
whens the next tixover then and r u lot coming

Need to have a trip out soon as all the lanes in Sawtry will close for Winter soon. whos up for it??

I agree, Ellingworths are an honest thorough garage to use. There's also an m.o.t station at Barrons of Eye who Nene Overland use. I'm up for some laning soon as I've already tried a couple around this neck of the woods. I drove to the other side of Wansford last wkend where there's one which is approx 2 miles long, it was a bit rutted but no rain has helped it not get too boggy. I'm also in Peterborough.

anyone going to tixover this sunday? i have been told they have changed the layout a bit there, but i know the tea is good!!

MOT this Saturday guys, fingers crossed!! could be going out saturday afternoon or sunday if all goes well.....!!!!

Failed the MOT!!, I need a new brake hose on the rear, new side repeater and both rear shock bushes have gone. not bad I think after all the work it took me to rebuild it.

Does any one know how to change the springs and shocks on a Range Rover, I need a hand!!

I don't think it is too different from the Disco. Take a quick look at the book of words or search for a How Do...

My 10 year old did my disco 1 springs and dampers a year ago and I am sure they are similar on the RR.

Cheers

Chris

Well yeah... but then most jobs on a D1 are straightforward once you know how they're done.

I have an account of w=a few of the jobs he has done. It includes the removal/replacement of the rear springs and has photos and things included. You are welcome to download it and take a look if it would help you at all.

Ignore all the irrelevant pages, this is part of a diary of sorts and contains much that will be irrelevant

it's a big download too since the images are all hi res.

the rain has stopped me again, I need to rent a double garage, does anyone know if there are any around??

Don't know about up there... but down here you can rent them straight from the council. £10 per week each though, but get two side by side and knock em through! ;)

PS, hoping he is gonna be quite handy, but as long as he enjoys it that's all that matters!

He might decide to be a train driver once he reaches 16!

Its taken nearly all weekend to swap over 1 shock and spring on the NSR.
what I would not give to have a set of ramps and a garage. also had to buy a spring clamp.
lets see how the waether is next weekend. only 3 more left to do....
