They can paint ontop of the mud if they like, I'm not cleaning it hehe!

Yeah its getting a bit boring this gearbox thing...hoping the next set of bits will cure it!
 
lets hope we can all be ready for some winter laning. would be good to catch up with you all again, maybe do those lanes near where me and LR110 got stuck that day lol

kev are you good a getting stuck or do you just look for biggest hole ya can find, seem to remember ya getting stuck at tixover...i think ya try to get stuck just ta use ya winch

wish i had a winch when i got stuck in devon tho...
 
yeah getting stuck and using the winch is fun, like to have some pure driving as well.
winch work can be hard work at times.

a mate of mine has just bought quite a nice series landy wants to get it muddy...
 
poxy land rovers, fixed all known faults, failed mot on wheel cylinder, oil on disc brakes a steering uj, they also said all lights dont work but ive now shown them how to use a military light switch!!
 
carnt remember there name but i always use al (alan) at ithink its avenger 4x4 near entrance to peterboro prison saville rd ithink has loads of spares in stock and resonable , mention me gas with the whit 90 he look after you.
 
as yours is a V8 with carbs tweek it yourself, there is a idle speed adjustment screw on the side of the carb, if you want a garage to do it dont worry ANY garage can adjust your idle just get the cheaapest in your area
 
no worries mate, cheers anyway. I think it needs a good look at. she is over 20 years old.
all the work I've done is to the body work and nothing to the engine, so maybe its time for that part.
 
Hi Kev. One simple thing to try - check the AFM. If it is the flapper type, this can get stuck open causing that effect.
