You could not have been more wrong. The lanes you strive to preserve were there long before you were aware of them. I remember the days before fools showed them to anybody they met on the internet. A lot less lane closures in those days.
Like i said, thats how it sounds when ive read it back the last 3 times.
Im not doubting your laning credentials, or anything like that fella, and youve obviously been "at it" alot longer than me. When i show lanes to "people i meet on the internet" i think about the lanes i am showing them and i consider the implications.
I think to myself that "maybe these people just want the information so they can go back and rip them up later" Thats why i only do the sustainable lanes with a hardcore surface with people i dont know. We cant stop people hooning around the countryside giving us a bad name but we certainly can try and "educate" people. If taking people out for a day of responsible laning achieves that then thats brilliant, if not then i havent given them any more information than they could find on the internet.
