Currently I've got a Freelander 1 and paid for a download workshop manual - which won't f****** download!
Looked through every site to try and find a free RAVE job covering the TD4 - and preferably every other bit that's still attached to the thing! Any ideas, please?? Nearly burnt the clutch out yesterday backing a trailor up a hill - God - give me back any of my old Series - - -!! Many thanks everyone.

I'm replying to myself! Nobody to talk to at Land's End except goats and emmits - that's a Cornish holidaymaker!
Can anyone explain to me why the simple task of undoing a top hose (to shove in a thermostat) has become a living nightmare of complete impossibility wrapped up in a fury making desire to drive this thing over the nearest cliff or into the nearest mine-shaft??! Impossible to get to, impossible to look at and the clip has no known end to unscrew or prize off. Don't want to dremel it off in case I ruin the hose and am stuck here in my field for ever more! It's a td4. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome Buryan, post in the Freelander section or possibly buy another Series :)

Lands End? Do you live in the theme park, then?:eek:

Just post another fred in the freebie section! ;)

Can it be moved? I seemed as a newby to only be able to post where I posted, so I posted thus?!
It's "thuslywise".

Had a quick google and it looks like it uses the pinch type clamp. You find its prongs and squeeze them with a pair of pliers.
Once you get it loose, chuck it out with the rest of the freelander and get yourself a nice 200tdi :p
