Can someone recommend a specialist near Ammanford/Swansea, S Wales please.
Would also help at the moment if they were willing to collect the vehicle.
Closest I can see above is near Cardiff.

Hi

I'd like to recommend the garage that did my MOT and the work needed for it. Medlins at Langarth, Threemilestone, Truro, Cornwall (for all those of you here in the very South West). Absolutely brilliant and very reasonable considering the Freelander needed a new CAT :( they even dropped me to my work and collected me. Also the garage immediately next door to them Langarth Garage, they did the MOT

Cannot fault them at all.

In Wakefield area for parts, repairs, servicing Simon Services another one who is a normall garage but the guy has a love of 4x4 is Purcell at Newton Hill Garage cant fault either one of them in the dealings I have had with them.

Mark Smith Land Rover in Bicester has just finished changing a few bits on my Freelander and getting her through the MOT and I was ver surprised how cheap it was, so definately recommend them as I will be going back - no doubt fairly soon with a Freelander:doh:

West London/Middlesex area

Had my Sport serviced at MR Sayers yesterday and C service was done for £250 all in (minus pollen/turbo filters which I'd done myself). They had just put a new engine in a rangie and both Derek and Tony are what I'd call 'old school' in their manner and dealings. As in a pleasure to deal with. The fee was negotiated by phone and they honoured it on the day. No frills as such but no fuss and the firm has been there for 30 years. If there are any issues upcoming post-service I'll update... hopefully not!

Sayers MR: Land Rover, Discovery and Range Rover service and repair specialists

Harris Mayes Country Cars in Rickmansworth Herts are very good - they look after my Defender and RR Classic and have Freelanders as courtesy cars. They have a cheaper workshop rate for older cars and are very easy and pleasant to deal with in my experience. They usually also have a few Land Rover products for sale though I`ve never bought a car off them.
