Hi, still havent got my headgasket done been phoning local garages and the like and no one seems to want to touch the V8 with a barge pole??
does anyone know of a garage in wilts/somerset, (im in warminster) which will do the work? any ideas will be great as getting very frustrated with being turned away now.

Try conquorer 4x4 they are in wiltshire I believe.

I know a good guy in Hampshire who is not scared of the v8 too, pm me if you want his details.

Tis really,and thats just ordinary stuff.The other stuff on vintage cars,bikes and tractors just gets pushed to one side.My gradual drift towards living in a yurt and playing with trees is getting pushed further into the background......

Not hard to get to me from Warminster but it maybe a bit too far.

This guy is close (brislington Bristol) and is very good - ex LR dealer. VG customer service and knows his stuff. Looked at my 2002 L322 adn it's been plain sailing since. Deffo check him out. Steve Hill Land Rover Servicing

I've used FBB before and they were pretty good. My old man used them loads too. Haven't been there for ages so not sure how their reputation is now.

spoke to conqueror 4x4 think im goin to take it to them, just a case of getting it there now didnt realise how expensive car transportation was! cheers all, il let you know how i get on.

hi all finally got my headgaskets fitted, now the damn thing wont start! theres nothing there when you turn the key? doesnt even try cranking and check engine light is on? i imagine this means it could be anything!
