Not on yo own. Yu risk body damage.
Went down there again on monday and it was a fair bit rougher than sunday, guessing the rain had washed some of the surface away.
Its not a bad as people think imo I have been through there a fair few times and only got 1 proper scrape on the o/s rear 1/4 about 10-15mm dia
As with all laning you will get some scratches/dings;)

Yup, I agree, but I know of peeps that have scored the length of their motors and peeps that have smashed side windows.
Not everyone want to risk that. Scratches n stuff are different. I am not saying that it will happen, just that it might. If you don't want to risk damage (not scratches) then don't do it.
Peeps need to be warned of the possibility of damage. Yu haven't had to reverse over those humps. I have!

Cheers Matt, I'll take you up on that offer mate. I'll PM you so we can arrange something.

MHM- don't worry whenever going out there's always a few of us in our monthly runs. Cheers

I guess I have been lucky so far,im sure my time wil come
As having to reversing, I had to back up about 300 yards, back up the step and in to the field in the dark with no other way to light the rear other than fogs, wasnt a good night that:doh:.(that reminds me need to sort my rear work lights)

I really did think I had battered the **** out of it tbh and the blokes we backed up for didnt even thank us for it:mad: and had to ask why I called him a ****er:eek:

I stand corrected :) if you have. It aint fun, is it?
Funny thing is - thats the worst bit - be easier for others to reverse, but it dont seem to happen that way.
A series or 90 should be easier as it isnt as wide as a Disco.

Dont get me wrong - I aint saying dont drive it - its a good lane to do, just you need to be aware of the potential risks. :D

Water lane is better at night, there's less chance of bumping into some one. That step is battered now though, i drove it on Friday night. Also hanger way (just after water lane), there is a massive tree fallen that is completely unmovable. Ive been trying to get hold of a chain saw with no luck.

Mate I was livid but I'm sure they will get their turn to do some reversing back up

thats the thing there is a place to pass (sort of)if they had backed up about 150yards

Let us know when you go out next as I have a crappy chain saw and should have a nice new winch to try out soon!
