and my bloody CB - cant get an SWR lower than 3.5! earthed the aerial mount - done the lot - still no joy - same with 3 CB's :(.

just spent the evening fitting my snorkle and steering guard all ready for sun, apart from a complete day of repairs tomorrow

hehehe bugger looks like im gonna have to tidy it all up! thats just the last of my long list of things to do to it! after ruining several of my lovely land rovers offroading im not taking any risks with this one!

Well fingers, toes and tits are crossed, mine is working at the mo, and it's been out for a run, so lets hope it makes it further than next doors driveway this time

Had a really good day out. The disco behaved itself by not overheating or spluttering to a halt, and I managed not to break anything,

Though I must do something about the whine I kept getting from the ballast area, separate cars in future I think :D:p

Yeah thanks for a great day, nice to put faces to names we really enjoyed it and thanks to our leader for cooking the food which was yummy, his landy made a great cafe as the wind kept blowing the flame out, must have smelt nice in there on the way home lol take care all.

I'm sure daft said you smacked your a*se on summat just as you left top end of Water Lane... concrete post?

Hope no damage done.

Thanks to Matt for the guided lean on Water Lane...still don't think I wanna try it  And thanks to Redwings for taking the riff raff elsewhere :D and some fab-i-tastic cooking in the wind and rain and lunchtime. I'll post the few pics I've got later - unfortunately the cab-view video failed

unfortunately, I couldn't really take any pics whist I was driving and my ballast didn't want to, and as I was at the back, I also was unable to set up to take any, so all I have is a couple of when we met up and at the lunch stop. So I'll get them up wen I get my stuff unpacked

No, my foot slipped off the clutch as I was turning round, and it stalled with a bit of a clunk.

Thankyou very much Snifflebag and Redwings for doing all the hard, it was nice to sit back and follow everyone
