just had a look in Rave and the just says release pipe from sump and refitting is the reverse procedure, no sealing washer. Put your Lucas in sump when refitting and then refill rest with pipe back on.
Gentle taps with a hammer OR looking at your photo the pipe has been cut so the sump can come off with it in place
You are right, its just the dipstick and i can infact drop the sump no issues. Just need a zippie for the dipstick after its remounted

Fluid colour is good. You refill via the dip stick tube, easier than crawling under the car with a pump to refillWhy do i always get the weird shait?
2 washers on my drain plug.
Leak free tho, advised to remove one? oh almost forgot to say, the washer which followed my kit is way too small.
I drained the fluid now atleast. Dunno if i wanna drop the sump if that pipe may leak if theres an old gasket, and i aint got a new one.
I think so, dont know why.

I take it from the marks you have checked all the Torx bolts on the valve block?

Ok so it appears my gear oil lvl is fine, however i now have a bad bad charge. Car on idle, 12volts
only thing ive done is charging the battery up. Note, i charged it yesterday, full. Came back to 12.4 today. Now it does not even charge, i have airbag fault, srs light, also battery light.
Both drivebelts are running around, so that seems ok…

So your alternator is still not charging. When you first turn on the ignition, does the red battery light on the dash illuminate?
When i take on ignition it acts like it always has before. many lights comes up (no fault messages)
then when i take the engine on, it is normal, only abs and handbrake light on, 2-3 sec after battery light is toggling on and off in intervals, few seconds appart.
Got Abs fault, airbag fault, gearbox fault in dash, srs light, battery light on.
Had this weird suction sound, i guess it was the gearbox oil oozing inside the system again. Weird, seems like i might've even overfilled it by 500ml. Only did 5.5 bottles and a bottle of lucas which is 700ml so thats
6.2 liters of oil which i've filled. Have i really overfilled? lol
I tough the box took 7 liters. Perhaps it hasnt flown trough the whole system yet..
Abit scared starting the bugger now as it doesnt charge...
