I have a strange noise comin fRom the gearbox on tick over and speeds up as I rev it. It sounds like a bad bearing but seems to be quieter when warmed up. Mostly in 1st and 2nd gear any ideas ? I have changed oil and filter.

It drives ok changes gear ok too. I have neva had an auto p38 so not sure it's normal, it's not loud but I can hear it coming from the gear stick area.

Was ok mate. Did not smell burnt , just a bit dirt

Not noticethat I will have a look at the old oil tomorrow. But don't think so mate.

What r they mate and r they expensive and r they easy to replace??

means taking box to pieces ,they are your gears in effect
