Does anyone know where I can get a new one of these gaiters from in the UK?

Unbelievable that D2 parts are obsolete so quickly, anyway have u tried a main LR dealer as their data base will show how many are available in the uk in stock at the dealerships.
Also found this, which u may have seen already, that's if u moved past the pic of an unknown but very smart dashboard. :)

Cut a bit of rubber mating to the same outside size and punch the holes for the rivets and gear stick

Just contacted these people about the gaiter, and their response was.

"Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we do not have this part in stock and it is no longer available from Land Rover. We are trying to find stock of these from elsewhere as they are in demand. We will add you to our contact list to contact you when we manage to locate some gaiters"

If they can't source them, I might have to make my own as suggested.

Called a breaker yesterday to see about getting one of these gaiters..... nearly fell off my chair when they told me how much they wanted.

£60!!!

I think I'll be making my own.

Cool! Why not? Like the way you think out of the box. In the kit car world we obviously have to make our own, so many do them in leather, which is really the dog's doodahs!
