Maybe if you say exactly what modell, year and engine is your "Defender 4" as i can't find any diagram for that also what's the exact fault code
2011 Discovery 4 HSE 3ltr, Have purchased replacement from Rimmer spare parts 85 pounds with postage, had disconnected filter sensor, cleared code and reattached, so far so good! has not returned. So now have a spare one in the glovebox. So after over $10k spent on the car since September 22 I will be selling and buying a new Skoda Karoq with a 7 yr warranty.
 
Why not keep the Disco as well? That way, between the two of them, you'll probably have one car running most of the time?

I have had 4 of them mate over a 17yr period Starting with a Freelander, enjoyed them all but getting tired of all the things that go wrong and having to get them fixed.

Hi, can you please specify what replacement you purchased? I have the same problem in LR Disco 4 MY2016 3.0 diesel and the repairer proposes to replace support for fuel filter. I understand sensor is in there. pic from an Aussie repairer that has posted a video on youtube on this problem precisely.
