Hello guys/ girls,

just wondering how much the fuel rail pressure when the motor idles should be?

I meassured 286 PSI according the iCarsoft device. Is it OK?

I'm asking because i suspect a failed injector..

Would be thankful if someone of you could share some data of his car..

states between : 250 bar / 3,625.9 psi .. and .. 1350 bar / 19,580 psi
bar / psi conversion off my computer app. .. don't know if usa. 'bar' be different to european or uk measurement
also .. pdf file above be for the bmw m47r engine in a rover vehicle .. but am assuming rail pressure is same or similar

Sorry i mean 286 bar when engine idles.

Just want to compare with yours guys.

Someone told me that it has to be at least 300 bar when idles.
