Hi Folks,

I'm well into my restoration now but something caught my attention - is this fuel gauge just stuck on what the fuel level was when I removed the cluster or should it return to the bottom?

and they never read right my wife early model fuel gauge is different to mine hers always seems to be showing what is in the tank so I presume that it is a damped one ,mine goes up when I turn the ignition on if I have much in the tank. but both of them seem to go down quick when the reach a quarter of a tank

sorry digressing from the subject , but I had to take a second glance as my fuel gauge is on the left hand side, mines a 2002 ???

did they change them as part of the 2001 update

sorry once again digressing

My 2002, TD4 also has the fuel gauge on the left of the cluster.

I have never seen another One like mine on the road, with the plastic trim half way up all of the doors (Not the tailgate of course).

I hope it's 'Special' :)

I think it is 'Special' as I am yet to find any rust on it..

freelander body kit

I do not like those body kits because you get dirt behind them and it wares into the paint ----then rust.

Do I detect a 'Hint' of jealousy Teddy :)

I will be taking the bumper trims as well as the rest of the body kit off soon as I want to paint them so we will see then.

When I was talking about no rust I meant the chassis - its clean :) even the bottom of the sills !

Search for STC7911 on the web. Is it that kit?
