Its a 95 300tdi es nice motor to drive and be in , its got all the gadgets air con etc its just bl$$dy slow
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 1996 3.0 Tdi ES. Can anyone tell me what the fuel consumption is like? I've just got rid of an Audi A6 2.7 twin turbo which cost me a fortune in fuel so I don't want to make the same mistake again.
Thanks.
Sarah
Don't bother just put Veg oil in 50/50 in the winter 65/35 rest of the time.Hoping to turn to boidiesel so can make thousands of litres!! _)
but some people said biodiesel is bad for my TDI ie injections etc wil pack up dunno if that is true
Well it all seems positive so far. I would actually rather have a Freelander Commercial, but there don't seem to be many around for my small budget. I wanted as much space as possible for the dogs as they are really the only passengers!
We're going to look at the Disco tomorrow and my husband has already convinced himself that we're buying it and he's trying to convince me too, but I'm determined not to let him talk me into what he wants this time as I'm the only driver. I can't afford to make a mistake again, I'll never hear the last of it if I dare complain about the fuel consumption!
That's what I was told about the Disco! I bought a Freelander.
Yes, it's a petrol. We had to get what we could for the little money we had. I need something with plenty of room for two large dogs and with the seats folded forward they have loads of room. They seem to be very popular as most of the ones I phoned up to see were sold. I've heard good reports and bad so I took a gamble.

aw Ta Pikey - i new yu was a decent sort - i nevva did believe wot thems others were sayin about yu.
