Whilst it is always prudent to get things checked and replaced in a timely fashion....

There would be no harm is asking a garage to give them a look over and report back...

If you MoT is due soon, may well pay to have them changed if they are showing signs of wear - if your test is a short while a way and after a £690 bill for the Propshaft/Coupler I think it could what a while unless they really are worn out.....

Keep an eye on the clunking noise if it gets worse, get them to look at it....

If it was the splines failing on the front diff then I would phone landrover customer services as they were all supposed to be done on recall and changed to a UJ , whinge enough and you might even get some sort of refund, I had the same thing on a 52 reg td6 that had done 113000 miles and was years out of warranty and landrover did it all for free, the front diff issue is well documented on here and other range rover forums

Thanks for he advice Birchy, unfortunately my moaning fell on deaf ears. After 45mins of pushing the point that others with exactly the same issue were replaced I gave up. Unless that is you have any other suggestions. I found LR UK very unhelpful and would rather not I've them any more satisfaction of my moaning and almost begging!

Can anyone recommend a decent and honest mechanic in the Surrey area (I'm near Caterham) who can have a look at my l322. I'm not overly happy with my mechanic at he moment and would like a second opinion. Thanks
