I'd help, but theres still plenty of retarded disco and fender drivers in ditches around here to get through.

A snowplough attachment for Freelanders? What a good idea!
Could push all the crap Minis, Clios etc out of my way.
Daft cow neighbour with mini cannot move away on the flat in 1" of snow.
It's about time there were laws to penalize drivers who attempt to drive in these conditions in vehicles not equipped to cope. A nice big fine and points for causing danger and obstruction to other road users who have suitable vehicles and the skill to use them safely.
I'd help but it's a bit of a long way for me to go. (I'm in Devon)
you were wetting the bed the other day when faced with a 150 mile trip - Scotlands at least 200 miles from Devon so that's you fooked
Plus your estimation is a tad off. It's actually over 400 miles from here to Scotland.
No I wasn't wetting the bed. I planned to go but friends/family advised me not to and gave me the "are you mad?" look. Despite the fact that I thought it was no major deal, I thought I'd ask here. + I actually left before I even got the chance to read half the posts.

pussy I did 840 miles and a ferry in 24 hours
(admittedly I felt ill when I crawled into bed.)

If that had been in a Freelander, then comfort would have made the trip betterer.pussy I did 840 miles and a ferry in 24 hours

Fanatic, if you have a Freelander 1.8 k series, then don't be ashamed. Youre more than welcome to join in rescuing Scotland with the rest of the Freelanders and their owners, who have already agreed to help.1.8 k series?![]()

We now have 4, which means any motorway can be cleared. Also A roads, with 2 Freelanders spare to concentrate on pulling others from ditches.
Those of you on here who dont have Freelanders, Storm and Sean especially, can also join us. Im sure the helpers would be more than happy to carry passengers. Especially those impressed by the Freelanders ability in snow.
