Muply, you would be as well to add details about any changes made to stop HGF

The rest of ya can get back to yr rusty buckets :p

Trouble with anything thats had money spent on it to make it look like next years model just smacks of dickheadedness .. You're never going to get that money back 'cos everyone knows all you've done is a tart-up job, and makes them (me) wonder why, and then wonder what you might be hiding by doing it and spending that amount of money on an old dog then flogging it off!

You need to take a good look in a mirror and then go out and find someone who looks the same, you might get lucky and sell the bloody thing

for sure it's in nice condition, and it looks like the plate could be private so looking more like a newer vehicle (I know it's not). However fact remains that it's a:

LAND ROVER FREELANDER 1998 (S) 1.8 petrol

It doesn't matter what you've spent on it, if the price of the base model is low then the improvements are more or less worthless.

Really hope you sell it though, don't wish bad luck on anyone. (well maybe a few exceptions)

Put a cheapo private plate on it and ask £1800. Accept a little lower if it gets a sale.

There are loads of people out there that know nowt about Landrovers and fancy a 4x4.

So why mention what it cost in your advert?

Couldn't see any reference to the mileage in your ad. There's no doubt the facelift looks good, but sadly it's still the flawed 1.8 petrol so it will be harder than the diesels to sell on the forum. Try Autotrader or similar, I think you'll probably have more luck there.

Bingo Polish Bloke brought it last nite for cash and i got £2150 wot a gaylander result Lads
