heres some shots of the boot with regards to where i slept on the weekend. when i get the chance ill be removing the floor in order to cut the cage away and fit hinges on the section behind the passenger seat. Ill have it so it can fold down and either rest on the seat when pushed forward or have legs hinged separately. hope this helps fella

its been a while since an update was given but to be frank not much had happened, however some recent work and upgrades give me something to write about.

I fitted a decat pipe a while ago and have since made it a straight through, which has given it a lovely bark and turbo whistle, but after a failed attempt with the modified back box a simple welded pipe was in order. I haven't got a photo of that but its fairly straight forward to think about….a long pipe….welded….done :p

Anyway i also had the IRD replaced along with a second hand prop put on so she's back to four wheel drive!! Now thats not particularly exciting so i decided to upgrade the lighting as the headlights are typical land rover dribble. So instead of getting a ready to fit set of spots with the fibreglass pod (which is a lot of money lets be fair) i decided to be different and buy a 42 inch 240W LED light bar. As you can see from the photos its bonnet mounted as it would have required a custom roof mount to fit and also anyone who has spots on the roof knows that its more than likely to suffer from glare on the dash. For anyone interested the light bar was 140 quid including free delivery and a wiring kit, which fitted my freelancer perfectly and would be more than adequate for a defender or discovery.

The light is bright white and put bluntly, blooodddy bright! its fantastic and can't recommend it enough!
