Grab it and push it around. If it's solid they're OK if it moves they're shot.
Do the same with your drive shafts. If you feel the issue through the steering and the gearstick it's likely a drive shaft, not the prop shaft.
Cheap aftermarket drive shafts will cause the same sort of issue.

The problem with cheap aftermarket driveshafts is even though you can't feel any issue when pushing them with your hand you will feel a vibration in the gearstick and steering when accelerating
