Hi All. I’m a newbie so thanks for allowing me onto the forum. I have an issue with my FL2 and it’s got me beat!

I’ve got a 58 plate FL2 with an issue. I’ve had it 15 months and it’s been great, but now I have an intermittent shaking of the whole car at 40-50mph. At first I thought it was a wheel bearing but they’re fine. It’s not engine or brakes so I’m concerned it’s drive train related.
I can drive on the same price of road and it shakes the first time but not the next. It’s pretty bad and becoming more frequent. The whole car vibrates! It’s not nice and makes us feel sick. I need to fix it.
It’s on Landsail tyres which were new 10k ago. I’ve only done 7k in it over the last 12m.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be please? Car has done 69k.
I had the car to the garage on Saturday with 3 engineers looking at it including me, and there’s nothing obvious. Really need to get it sorted before going on hols... I hate intermittent faults. ☹️
Any help or advice is appreciated. Cheers,Steven.

No change to engine noise or tone on mine so I doubt that’s the cause of my issue. But really don’t know.

I have that issue around 45-50 but not all the time was told it might be a tyre, but they all checked out ok so it has me beat as well.
have you checked prop bearings or the offside drive shaft ,shaft bearing.

Have you had the tyres balance checked? Tyres could have lost balance weights so sometimes the tyres are 'in phase' and at others 'out of phase'. Don't laugh; I had this problem (not on a landy) where sometimes vibration would kick in or disappear after a tight bend. Got all four tyres rebalanced and problem went away.

Next time it happens put the car into sports mode and change up to 6th or down to 5th and see if that makes the problem worse/better/no different. Could point to a gearbox/transmission problem.

Thanks but yes, that was first thing I did. All balanced accurately so can rule that out. I’ve tried changing gear and coasting on no difference. It’s gotta be drive train or tyres?
