ProjectV6

New Member
Hello,
I have just bought a Freelander 1 V6 as a project car. First of all, Looking to replace the exhaust system and air intake for better performance. also looking for a silicone hose replacement kit. i have found hose kits for the TD4, are these compatible? Has anyone done anything like this with a V6 before?
Thanks,

Air intake mods seldom do anything as they have a factory cold air feed from factory!

Silicone hose is a good upgrade from rubber!

And we need pictures ;)

Pics to follow, need some daylight! Just not seen much information on the V6 but lots of potential for a fun project!

“social, domestic & leisure” pretty much for camping trips and road-trips. also to tow my other project car on a car trailer. anyone know how compatible the hoses are for td4 and the V6?

here is the engine bay, as you can see needs some work!

The coolant reservoirs crack around the top filler hole which lets air in the system. That one looks mucky inside.
