Hi

On the td4 auto there's a button where you activate/de activate the cruise control.
I'm doing a lot of mixed driving and sometimes (most of the times) forget de activate the cruise control button.
Will it do any harm just to leave it on all the times and just operate on the steering controls?

Thanks

As above, none whatsoever.

I do find the LED being on at night all the time a pain, so I tend to only turn on when I think I will want it.

Thanks for confirming!
What's the reasoning to have that button if you could just use the steering controls?

Every cruise control in different makes of car I had owned and used has a general on/off switch. The only one I have had where there is a light in the on/off button is the Freelander.....

You don't want it to switch on by mistake now do you....

:D

I had an Opel without that switch and the day I test drove it I was fiddling with everything and switched it on by mistake . . . The brakes was also tested that day :)

That switch is actually important!
