Hi All, brand new to the forum and looking to tap into the wealth of experience with a problem that has me scratching my head.
Am tryingto sort a starting problem on a friends Freelander (T Reg). Currently have no fuel supply to rail. I have checked the lift pump and this is not priming on turning on the ignition or running when cranking the engine. Multimeter reading 12v at plug (purple/white & Blk) but pump doesn't run..... however - if I slave a wire to pump terminal straight from battery it runs no problem and wagon runs satis??
Thoughts so far are crap amps (bad earth, green wire?). Only snag with this is trying to cont. check the loom or find wiring diagrams with relay pin details etc.
Also looked at multi function relay (appears to be fine) and inertia switch (ok).
Sure I've seen this posted before and any help greatfully received.
